FEMA publishes flood hazard maps (Flood Insurance Rate
Maps, or FIRMs) showing Municipal areas subject to flooding that are currently
regulated by FEMA. Digital scans of these maps can be downloaded from this site
or from FEMA’s on-line Map Store.
Though these scans can be useful at a planning level, they do not reflect
current FEMA mapping information (nor even all areas that may be subject to
flooding) and do not necessarily predict the outcome of a Municipal flood
hazard review. Warning! Some of the JPG files on this page are very large and may be slow to download.
Note: Click to open the thumbnail index sheet to the FEMA
scans and zoom-in to identify the FIRM panel number covering your area of
interest. (The index pages can also be downloaded and opened directly from the
list below.) Use the panel number to select the map page you have identified
from the list below. To print the map files, right click and select "Save Target As" to place the image on your hard drive.
Due to the large size, "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" is the recommended utility for printing.
Set your printing preferences to landscape orientation and 11x17 (tabloid) size paper.
